4. Career
Your career grants skills, languages, and an inciting incident that drove you to adventure.
5. Class
Your class defines your combat role, heroic resource, and abilities.
6. Subclass
Choose your subclass option.
7. Kit
Your kit provides equipment, combat bonuses, and a signature ability.
8. Complication (optional)
Choose a complication that gives your hero a benefit and a drawback — both mechanical and narrative. This step is optional; skip it if you prefer.
